Welcome back to my blog! I hope that everyone has been enjoying their winter since we all know that spring is around the corner!
Am I the only one that is geniunely ecstatic for spring? It never fails to cheer my heart to see dormant plants come to life again. Orange and Brown replaced by Green. Bushes that looked like sticks weeks ago are now filled with lovely leaves - vibrant color and life! And the best part of it all is that the weather begins to gradually get warmer. To be honest, I am not a winter person! I am not a fan of the cold weather; I prefer 70-degree weather over snow any day lol...
Although February is considered the coldest month of the year in NYC, we were privileged to experience a day when the temperature rose up to 73-degrees! I could not believe it when I saw that number on the weather app. I told myself that I could not stay home because it is rare to experience such a day like this on a February, and I was not going to let it pass. Therefore, I grabbed something casual and comfy from my wardrobe, and went out for a walk at the park.
I paired my top with a vibrant mustard midi skirt from LOFT. I just love this skirt! You can style it in many ways. Oh! And did I mention that it is super comfortable? The flowy and soft material kept me feeling fresh throughout the day.
